There Is No Sun

Today I woke up to it storming outside.  Meaning its a very dark gloomy day.  I would appreciate it greatly if the storm lets up, the sun comes out, and it warms up before practice tonight.  My birthday is this Friday, along with the game that if we win we will for sure be number two in our conference.  Friday morning my mother is making the team a breakfast.  She is making pancakes and an egg meal with some fruit.  After we eat we will go watch a movie at the school.  After the movie we will then leave for our game.  Sometime that day Abbie is wanting to give me a birthday present.  As far as my birthday goes, I'm not too excited.  Turning seventeen, to me, just means collage is just around the corner, I need to grow up and be more responsible.  Doesn't sound too fun to me.  Dad got a call from the guy that is working on my car the other day telling him the the car is running.  He is going to tweak a few my things along with hanging the mufflers.  If I could tame my car to school Friday for the game that would be a pretty awesome present. As for the rest of this week, up until Friday, it will be the usual.

not gunna be good

When I sat down to blog, I started thinking of what to blog about.  I got nothing!  So that pretty much concludes my blogging for today.

Death.

Today, after I woke up, I went to the kitchen, found some food, then went upstairs to do the laundry.  Since mom broke her arm my chores have been doubled.  Along with helping her with whatever she needs and picking up the slack, life gets to be some what hectic.  After I did the laundry I went down stairs to start on my school.  When I open my computer and turned it on, I notice the back light not working.  When I turn the computer to see what happened I notice that some of the wires are pulled from the circuit box.  So I now have a broken computer, that I can't do my school on.  I am not sure if it will be an easy fix or not yet.  It looks like all we will need to do is strip down the wires some and find the right spots for them.  Sounds easy enough, right?  Homecoming is this weekend.  We play one of the best teams on our conference for homecoming as well.  hopefully it will get us pumped up enough to completely destroy them. The dance is also this weekend.  Oh how much I dislike dances.  I don't enjoy dancing, I don't enjoy dressing up, I don't really want to go.  But I think I might.  Abbie wants me to go with her, She said she wants a pic for every year because Kassie does.  I would be perfectly fine with this( because we are getting to be friends again), but I really don't want everyone to think that we are back together.  I will really only want to stay for the pictures if I do go.  Then go out to eat, or go to movies or something.

Busted!

This is going to be an interesting couple of week coming up here.   Last weekend we were driving the go kart Jeff brought.  We were doing time trials, chase went then I went, then mom got behind the wheel to take it for a spin.  You would think that with her experience driving and stuff she would do fine.  Especially after chase and I already drove the course and did it fine.  Anyways she is coming into the first turn, ducks behind some trees so we can't see her.  Then when she comes out from behind the trees, all we see is her in the go kart air born flipping out of the turn.  we quickly run to her to discover her broken arm.  There was a little bit of blood but nothing major.  We load her into a suv and they rushed her to the hospital.  After x-rays we learn the bone is snapped right under her shoulder and will need a rod put in to fix it.  That day she goes through surgery, recovery, the sleep you always get in a hospital.  The next day she got to come home later in the day.  She is now on the couch where she will be for the next two weeks.

Friday Night Football!!!!

Tonight I play Grundy.  We will completely destroy them!  We are playing a four tree defense, which means we will have four linemen, tree linebackers, and four d-backs.  Grundy throws more than they run so that is why we are playing this defense.  Grundy people already hate me, so I'm sure after tonight I will be even more hated.  Tomorrow Megan is coming.  She is planning on being here around eleven, the plans are to go to Marshaltown to have lunch with her uncle.  After that I'm not too sure what we are going to do.  Making plans takes too much work, so I try to wing it as much as I can.  

Macklin Can Dance!

This morning Chase mom and I went to the court house to get Chase's school permit.  We got home to some sweet and sour pork and broken car.  After lunch I got onto the computer to watch our football game from Friday.  Naturally the music came on shortly after, because you can't be on the computer without having some music on.  A little while later we notice Macklin dancing!  That's pretty much all that was exciting for today.  Later we have practice, then church.  That pretty much sums up my day, boring huh?

One And Oh

Last Friday we had our first game.  We beat South Hardin twenty five to seven.  I played the whole game at buck except for the last five minutes.  I also got some time at tight end.  I had the second to most tackles on the night.  although the only pass thrown to me I dropped.  As far as hair goes, I wasn't feeling the mullet, so I changed it to a mo-hawk.  Saturday we went to Alex's soccer game at Faith.  they won three to two in overtime.  It was the best game I ever saw Alex play.  Later we went out to eat, then went shopping.  Cody and I went to the movies with Kirby and some of her friends that night as well.  Then Sunday morning I went to work with Cody, which was interesting.  The rest of the day was just like any normal Sunday.
